PROCEON has signed an agreement with a pelagic processing company in the United Kingdom for a complete processing system for herring roe.

“We have been working on this for several months, and the solution includes innovations in roe processing with a focus on improved quality and utilization throughout the process,” says Ragnar A. Guðmundsson, one of PROCEON’s founders.

“The collaboration has been outstanding throughout the entire process with the customer and our experienced roe processing specialists, meeting the highest standards for handling and product quality. Their goal was to modernize roe processing and increase the value of their products. This is very exciting project with significant benefits for the client, as this is one of their most valuable products. The first phase will be delivered at the end of July, with the second phase scheduled for delivery next year,” Ragnar adds.
