PROCEON strengthens the team — Böðvar Már Styrmisson and Ólafur Baldursson join the company

A new processing designer and an experienced product development engineer sharpen PROCEON’s ability to help customers get more from every fish.

As processors face rising pressure to lift yield from every fish, PROCEON continues to build out its team. Two new members join the company, strengthening both its processing design and its mechanical engineering capability.

Böðvar Már Styrmisson — Processing Designer

Böðvar Már Styrmisson joins PROCEON as a Processing Designer. In this role, he designs and configures processing lines for fish and food processors — from analysis and design, to sourcing and implementing solutions, in close collaboration with customers, PROCEON’s development team and partners. The role bridges the gap between customer needs and the company’s technical solutions and is central to identifying the best solutions to deliver measurable results on the customer’s floor.

Böðvar holds a B.Sc. in Fisheries Science and brings deep and broad industry experience from similar roles in companies like Skaginn 3X (now KAPP Skaginn), Slippurinn DNG and Vélfag.

Ólafur Baldursson — Product Development Engineer

In June, Ólafur Baldursson joined PROCEON as Product Development Engineer. Ólafur has spent most of his career in the automotive industry and in food processing technology, working as an independent consultant and with SF Engineering in Ireland, where he is based. At PROCEON he leads mechanical engineering work in product development. His experience adds depth to PROCEON’s engineering capability and supports the company’s ambition to bring smarter, cutting-edge food processing solutions to market faster.
