With decades of global experience across processing technology, automation, maintenance, AI, and digital transformation, our founders bring deep domain knowledge and a shared commitment to building a smarter, more resilient food industry.

Our backgrounds span seafood, poultry, and meat processing, and we have led complex, high impact projects from concept to global scale. Together, we combine technical expertise, operational insight, and hands on industry experience to help processors achieve new levels of performance, reliability, and sustainability.

Trausti Árnason — Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder

Trausti grew up in the heart of the Icelandic seafood community in Ísafjörður, where daily life revolved around cod, shrimp, and hard work. With a foundation in software engineering, lean management, and organizational leadership, Trausti has spent 30 years driving innovation and strategy at companies including Marel, Controlant, Skaginn 3X, and Vélfag.

His passion lies in developing technologies that strengthen food processors and help the industry evolve toward higher efficiency and intelligence.

Ragnar Guðmundsson — Chief Sales Officer & CoFounder

Ragnar, widely known in the industry as Raggi, is also from Ísafjörður and has built a strong professional network across the seafood sector since 2012. With experience at 3X Technology, Skaginn 3X, and Vélfag—and early years spent as a fisherman running his own boat—he brings practical industry insight rooted in real operations.

Educated in engineering, fisheries, and aquaculture science, Ragnar has spent 15 years turning innovative ideas into real customer value across seafood processing.

Elías Jónsson — Chief Technology Officer & CoFounder

Elías, or Elli, is the technical engine behind PROCEON. Raised in Bolungarvík, he grew up contributing to the family’s fishing operations—learning early the importance of reliability, uptime, and getting the job done right.

He holds degrees in Industrial, Computer Science, and Mechanical Engineering, plus an MSc in Applied Computing with a focus on AI. His career includes years developing advanced, AI driven processing technologies at Valka, Marel, and Vélfag.

Elli is known for his deep commitment to customers and his belief that technology must make their work easier, not more complicated.
